Ayii University is a private university established on 21 August 2014, with the aim of training health professionals who would be the backbone for quality health services delivery in South Sudan and beyond. It first started in 2014 as the Juba Institute of Health Sciences which had been training mid-level health cadres namely, Clinical officers, Registered Nurses, Registered Midwives, Pharmacy Technicians and Laboratory Technicians amongst others has graduated over 1500 students, and with current enrollment of over 1800 students..

Our Story

Background

Ayii University is a private high institution of learning and recognized in the Republic of South Sudan located at Munuki Block C off Mia Saba Road in Juba.

Brief History about us

We first started in 2014 as Juba Institute of Health Sciences which has been training mid level health cadres namely, clinical officers, Registered Nurses, Registered Mid-wives, Pharmacy Technicians and Laboratory Technicians amongst others, it has graduated over 1500 students and with current enrollment of over 1800 students.

Therefore, The board of Directors decided in January 2020 to ugrade the institute into a University to cater for upgrading graduates and at the same time to introduce new science based bachelor Degree courses to help foster development and prosperity for the young nation & beyond.
